One platform. Three ways to switch it on.
Every plan runs the full system — matters, caseworker ownership, the risk dashboard, custom reminder schedules, manager escalation, reports and team controls. What changes between Standard, Gold and Premium is which reminder channels you use, and whether we set up your screens for you.

The commercial terms
7-day free trial
Card required at signup. During the trial the full platform and email reminders are live, sent from a shared address. You are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then.
Monthly or annual
Pay monthly, or pay annually and get two months free — flip the switch above to see the annual price. Billed in GBP through Stripe.
No seat limits
Add as many caseworkers, deadlines and screens as you need on every plan. On Gold and Premium, SMS and WhatsApp run on your own Twilio account, so that usage is billed to you by Twilio directly.
The setup fee, once
Charged on your first invoice and scaled to your plan. It covers verifying your sending domain, and — on Gold and Premium — connecting SMS and WhatsApp. Premium adds our team pairing your screens for you.
Pricing FAQs
What's included in the price, what your firm pays for directly, and what SMS, WhatsApp and a TV screen actually cost to run day to day.
Do we need to buy any hardware?
Only if you want the board running on an office TV. You'll need a television — most firms already have one in reception or a meeting room — and a small streaming device to connect it to the TV and run the Matter Due screen. Both are one-off hardware costs your firm covers directly; they're separate from our setup fee and monthly price.
On Standard and Gold you plug in and pair the device yourself; on Premium, our team does the physical setup and pairing for you.
Which streaming stick do you recommend?
The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (Google TV, Chromecast built-in). It's the exact device we've tested the board on ourselves, which is why we recommend this one rather than a generic alternative — it plugs into any TV's HDMI port and joins your office Wi-Fi in a couple of minutes.
Xiaomi TV Stick 4K
Any HDMI streaming device with a browser will run the board — this is simply the one we've verified ourselves, from this seller.
Who pays for SMS and WhatsApp usage on Gold and Premium?
SMS and WhatsApp reminders run on your own Twilio account, so that usage is billed to your firm by Twilio directly — we don't mark it up or add it to your Matter Due invoice. For most firms it comes to a few pounds a month:
| Channel | Rate | Typical cost |
|---|---|---|
| SMS, kept under 160 characters | ~$0.056 / message | ~£4.20 per 100 texts |
| WhatsApp, pre-approved template | ~$0.026 / message | ~£2.00 per 100 messages |
| Twilio UK sending number | — | ~£2 / month |
Rates from Twilio's UK SMS pricing page and move with FX and volume, so check your own Twilio dashboard for the exact figure. We handle the Twilio account setup and Meta/WhatsApp approval for you as part of the Gold and Premium setup fee.
Does email cost anything extra?
No. Email reminders run on our Brevo account at no extra cost to you, on every plan. Brevo's free tier gives us up to 300 emails a day, and that cap resets every day — around 9,000 emails a month in total, which comfortably covers reminder volume for the vast majority of firms.
So what do we actually pay Matter Due?
A flat £29/month (or £290/year) on every plan, plus a one-time setup fee — £99 on Standard, £149 on Gold, £199 on Premium. No per-seat charges, and no markup on Twilio usage. The only costs beyond that are the ones above, and only if you choose SMS/WhatsApp or want the board running on an office TV.
